Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
You'll find a Nunchuk fits in your hand like an old friend. It hooks up to the Wii Remote via the external extension connector to give you even more flexibility. The Nunchuk has similar motion-sensing technology to the Wii Remote. Left handed. No problem. You can swap the Nunchuk from hand to hand for maximum control.

Amazon.com Product Description
The Wii Nunchuk controller is a secondary controller that adds even more innovation to the next generation of gaming, and does it all with less physical movement. Used in conjunction with the standard Wii remote, certain games need the Nunchuk controller for additional control options. Contoured perfectly to fit a player's hand, the Nunchuk controller builds on the simplicity of the Wii Remote controller. The Nunchuk contains the same three-axis motion sensor found in the Wii Remote, but also includes an analog stick, and two buttons to help assist in character movement. The Wii Nunchuk controller is now available in Black.

Wii Nunchuk

The perfect addon to enhance your Wii Games
Many games will allow you to control your character's movement with the Nunchuk in your left hand, while your right hand is free to execute the action movements with the Wii Remote. For example, the Nunchuk is particularly useful for games like Wii Boxing. You can use the Nunchuk to punch with your weaker hand, while you use the Wii remote to punch and jab with your predominant hand.

In first-person shooters, the Nunchuk controller carries the burden of movement, freeing you to aim and fire using a more natural motion with the Wii Remote. In a football game, you can make your quarterback elusive with the Nunchuk controller while you search for an open receiver to throw to using the Wii Remote. Serious gamers may even want to use two Nunchuk controllers to gain a fierce competitive edge.

Because the Wii Remote and Nunchuk controllers are only relatively dependent on each other, players are free to hold them in whichever hand is most comfortable. Perfectly suitable for either right or left-hand use, the Wii Nunchuk controller grants accessibility not often seen in previous game controllers.

Also, the Nunchuk controller doesn't need its own power--it plugs into the Wii Remote controller when it's in use. So there's no need to worry about charging or replacing expensive batteries.

Adding a Nunchuk to your Wii system will definitely help you open the doors to the next level of gaming, and seriously step up performance. Just be careful not to knock out your significant other, or bruise the dog, severely, while using one, or two Nunchuk controllers.

5 out of 5 stars If you have a Wii, you need the Nunchuck too.   February 25, 2010
blundoboys (Massachusetts)
If you own a Wii, you will need the Nunchuck to go w/ the remotes. Not all games require the Nunchuck, but if you have Wii Active Sports, you have to have this to play it. I bought extra for the extra Wii remotes.

Hi. I just bought my Wii two weeks ago and I considered buying an extra Wii remote and nunchuck. I don't even imaging how my wii experience would be If I've haven't got this device. I recommend it a lot.

2 out of 5 stars good products but what happened to Target?   February 20, 2010

I bought this and a couple of other things including the WII 20 pack.

I had to return a broken charger within the 30 day warranty period. I mailed it USPO, without tracking it, to the return location provided on the warranty request sheet. That was month ago. It has not disapppeared but there is no RSVP from Target. Simple request for a warranty repair.

No response from Target. Unfortunately mail order at Target for WII warranties was not responsive. Perhaps a bad rap on the part of their Mail order department will get me an answer---PDQ. If not, I am unable to see why anyone would want to order from them. Target on line and mail order process.

3 out of 5 stars good packing, but problems with delivery   February 12, 2010

This was the first time brought a product in Amazon. I was surprised by the packing. the products were totally well protected.
congratulations. but I do have a complain. I ordered the product on Dec 8 and the delivery date was (around) Dev 16, but that day ( the 16 ) I received a email telling me that the products won't arrived on 16 and the new date was going to be 23.

why did you sent the delivery notication the day I was expecting the products? I think that you should know about this delay problem before the delivery date and you should notify before.

Any way, I'm very happy with the product and the quality.
thanks
